CRB checked!
All Examberry tutors are CRB checked.
At Examberry we run small friendly classes taking up to a maximum of 8 children per class only. This allows the children to make friends and there is a little healthy competition between them.
Our programme is run week by week so if a child cannot make their regular session if they e-mail us in advance they can attend an alternative session at a different location. If they are away or unwell and unable to make the weekly session again if they e-mail us we will post the work home. That way a child never misses or falls behind on the coursework and the homework.
All coursework is written by Examberry and not licenced to any other supplier.

Year 5 Foundation Course: September till December (term time).
This is essentially one hour maths and one hour english but slightly geared towards the 11+ preperation and leads on to the 11+ course in January.
We recommend all potential pupils thinking about the 11+ to enrol for the foundation course as over the years the pupils who have started with us in September have found it extremely beneficial.
Year 5 11+ Course: January till November (term time).
This follows on very nicely from the foundation course and is one hour verbal reasoning and one hour non-verbal reasoning.
We begin by teaching each of the techniques that are required for verbal reasoning and non verbal reasoning, before we progress to full length papers which are used for class work and homework. Throughout the course we support all parents in helping their child achieve their very best by providing numerous tips and advice in preparation for the grammar school exams.
